The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for electronic finance transactions using eyes recognition. According to an embodiment of the present invention, a mobile terminal for performing electronic finance transactions through wireless communication comprises: a display unit for displaying a screen for electronic finance transaction; a camera unit for acquiring the face image of a user; and a control unit for analyzing the face image to identify the pupil position of the user and, if the pupil position of the user is not identified for a predetermined time, switching the screen for electronic finance transaction, displayed on the display unit, to a lock screen or log-in screen. According to the present invention, the eyes of a user using electronic finance transactions can be recognized by a mobile terminal to automatically block a screen for electronic finance transaction if the user does not keep an eye on a terminal screen any more, thereby strengthening security and preventing unintended use by others.
