PURPOSE: An energy saving system for a ship using the waste heat of the ship is provided to produce electric energy by operating a mid and low temperature waste heat recovery device with the waste heat of exhaust gas and the waste heat generated from a cooling system of an engine. CONSTITUTION: An energy saving system for a ship using the waste heat of the ship comprises a cooling water circulation system (100), a mid and low temperature waste heat recovery system (200), and an exhaust gas recirculation system. The mid and low temperature waste heat recovery system is operated by an organic refrigerant with a boiling point lower than the boiling point of water and evaporates the organic refrigerant with cooling water supplied from the cooling water circulation system. The exhaust gas recirculation system recirculates some of exhaust gas exhausted from an engine (110) to the engine and increases the temperature of the cooling water by heat-exchanging the recirculated exhaust gas and the cooling water supplied to the mid and low temperature waste heat recovery system. |
