PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a member coated with a DLC film, which shows improved adhesion of a high-quality DLC film laminated on a carbon eutectoid Cr electroplating film serving as an undercoat and particularly prevents formation of blisters, and a method for manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: The member coated with the DLC film includes: a metal substrate; a heat-treated carbon eutectoid chromium electroplating film applied and formed on a surface of the metal substrate; and the DLC film applied and formed on the heat-treated carbon eutectoid chromium electroplating film.
