The method involves finding parking spaces in an environment of the vehicle by a control unit (101), selecting a parking space in the area by the control unit, and parking the vehicle into the parking space. The specification of driver is detected by the control unit. The driver input is a side of the vehicle in the direction in which the vehicle is parked. The side on which a turn signal lever of the vehicle is provided and the side on which the remote condition is provided, are selected. An independent claim is included for a parking device. |
