<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network management device capable of highly accurately specifying a fault part. <P>SOLUTION: The network management device includes: a route information generation unit 1 for acquiring route information from a network and generating connection information; a network monitoring unit 4 for sending out a fault notice including a fault detection device and a fault detection sub network when the fault detection device is detected in the case of detecting the fault of a device within a network; a fault part estimation unit 3 for extracting devices on a route within the fault detection sub network to the fault detection device on the basis of the fault notice and the connection information, instructing the execution of survival confirmation, estimating a fault part within the sub network on the basis of a survival confirmation result, instructing the survival confirmation within another sub network when the fault part within the sub network is a shared device shared by another sub network, and determining a fault estimation part on the basis of the survival confirmation result; and a survival confirmation unit 5 for performing the survival confirmation on the basis of an instruction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
