<p>The movement has a regulator unit comprising a staff and a hairspring (1) mounted on the staff and regulating rate of a chronograph, where the staff is made from metal. A launcher (7) gives an impulse to the staff or a hub (3) mounted on the staff, to start the regulator unit when a user starts the chronograph, where the hub is made from silicon or ceramic. The launcher transmits, to the staff or the hub, a force having a tangential component for accelerating the regulator unit and a force having a radial component for instantaneously blocking the staff. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a mechanical chronograph comprising a mechanical movement (2) a method for accelerating and/or decelerating a regulator unit of a mechanical chronograph.</p> |
