PURPOSE: A M2M(Machine to Machine) apparatus for transmitting and receiving multicast traffic, base station, and method thereof are provided to effectively operate an M2M system by receiving downlink multicast data without terminating an idle mode. CONSTITUTION: A processor(120) receives a paging message from a base station(150) by controlling a reception apparatus(112). The processor controls the reception apparatus in order to receive multicast data from the base station based on the paging message. The paging message includes time information related to multicast data transmission time between the base station and an M2M apparatus. The time information directs a frame, a sub frame, or a super-frame number. |
