A water-in-oil antiperspirant composition comprising (A) an aqueous phase containing dissolved antiperspirant active; (B) an oil phase comprising (i) an amido gelator, (ii) a fatty alcohol that is liquid at 250C, (iii) a primary non-volatile emollient oil having a refractive index of from 1.47-1.56, (iv) a secondary non-volatile emollient oil having a refractive index of from 1.38-1.45 and (C) an emulsifier. The composition is preferably in the form of a solid stick and is translucent. A method for the production of said composition is also disclosed. |
