PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of writes to an auxiliary storage device of an electronic calculator with write restriction, to extend the lifetime of the auxiliary storage device. SOLUTION: A write instruction and write data to be written in the auxiliary storage means 25 are acquired by a common interface means 50, and the write data are written as cache data in a cache region 71 of a main storage means in the electronic computer 1. When the cache region is in a specific condition such as a cache full state, the cache data are collectively written in a recording region of the auxiliary storage means 25. In this way, the number of writes to the auxiliary storage device of the electronic calculator can be reduced, and the service life of the auxiliary storage device with limited write cycles.
