PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a direct current motor, capable of obtaining good electric and magnetic balance in all positional relationships, and increasing the speed of winding operation effectively, in the direct current motor of 6 poles 24 slots 24 segments. SOLUTION: Three forward winding coils 71-73 are formed in an overlapping winding system. Three reverse winding coils 74-76 are formed in the overlapping winding system. Each forward winding coil 71-73 is arranged so as to face one magnetic pole. Each reverse winding coil 74-76 is arranged so as to face other magnetic pole. These forward winding coils 71-73 and reverse winding coils 74-76 are formed continuously in the circumferential direction with a winding 12. A winding start terminal 31 of the winding 12 and a winding end terminal 32 of the winding 12 are connected to two segments 14, 14 having the same potential difference as a potential difference among adjacent segments 14, respectively.
