PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive tool for vacuum carburizing which can be stably used for a long period of time in a carburizing atmosphere by hydrocarbon, such as a temperature level of ≥1,000°C, in vacuum carburizing heat treatment. SOLUTION: The chemical component composition of the tool cast steel material for vacuum carburizing consists of 0.15 to 0.60 mass% C, ≤2.00 mass% Mn, 15 to 29 mass% Cr, 10 to 40 mass% Ni, ≤1.8 mass% Si, 1.8 to 2.8 mass% Nb+Ti+(W/Mo) in total, and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities.
