<p>The disclosed elevator can be moved in the maintenance mode as it is controlled from within the car by means of a control unit. The control unit can be stowed behind a removable, pivotable, or slidable part in the ceiling or lamp in the elevator car (6) or behind a removable, pivotable, or slidable wall part of the elevator car (6). The control unit can be attached to a cable and be removed from the stowing recess while still being attached to the cable so as to be actuatable from anywhere inside the elevator car. In an alternative embodiment, the control unit can be designed as a wireless transmitter that interacts with a wireless interface on the elevator car. Since the elevator car can be controlled from inside so as to be movable to any point along the travel path thereof and be stoppable at any point, all maintenance work, including on the drive units (24) for the shaft doors (11), can be performed from inside the car.</p> |
