<p>The present invention relates to an array substrate for display device and a manufacturing method thereof. The array substrate includes an insulating substrate, a gate line formed on the substrate, a data line defining a pixel area by crossing with the gate line, a thin film transistor connected to the gate line and the data line and including a gate electrode, a source electrode, and a drain electrode, a protective film covering the gate line, the data line, and the thin film transistor and having a drain contact hole exposing the drain electrode, and a pixel electrode formed in the pixel area of the protective film and touching the drain electrode through the contact hole. Each of the data line, the source electrode, and the drain electrode covers a bottom layer including copper and the top and sides of the bottom layer and includes a top layer thinner than the bottom layer.</p> |
