A communicating method of a terminal and a station for a direct communication link between terminals is disclosed. A station schedules a reference terminal to transmit ranging codes; and schedules a target terminal to receive ranging codes. The reference terminal measures the ranging code received from the target terminal; and transmits the measurement result of the ranging code to the station. The station selects a terminal for forming a direct communication link with the reference terminal from the target terminals based on the measurement result of the ranging code.
