The present invention relates to a sound transducer and, more specifically, to a sound transducer which is able to independently process an electric signal (a sound signal) which is applied from the outside. The sound transducer with an independent electric signal processing function includes: a frame; a magnetic circuit which is installed in the frame; a voice coil which receives an electric signal and vibrates by a mutual electromagnetic force; a vibration plate which vibrates by the vibration of the voice coil and generates a sound; and a sound pressure compensation device which operates by receiving a power source from an external electric device, determines whether to perform a power saving function or not based on the size of the electric signal which is applied from the external electric device, and performs the power saving function depending on the determination.
