Adhesive tape (91) comprises a support material (93) consisting of an acrylate-based foam layer, on which a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer (92) is applied. The pressure-sensitive adhesive layer comprises a mixture of at least two different synthetic rubbers, preferably based on vinylaromatic, and a resin, in which the foam forming layer is not soluble in acrylates, and is chemically crosslinked. An independent claim is included for manufacturing the adhesive tape comprising: forming a viscoelastic foam support layer, which comprises a top and a bottom, by providing a mixture of free or controlled free radical polymerization mixture comprising acrylate and alkyl acrylate, polymerizing the mixture, then thermal cross-linking, and foaming the polyacrylate; and coating the pressure-sensitive adhesive to produce the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer. |
