UPDATE MANAGEMENT METHOD AND APPARATUS

An update management method in a user terminal, a non-transitory computer-readable recording medium having recorded thereon a program for executing the update management method and a corresponding user terminal. The method comprises: storing one or more pieces of update information related to at least one category from a plurality of categories in a storage unit of the user terminal; displaying one or more pieces of notice information regarding the one or more pieces of update information within a first information region of a screen; and displaying within a second information region of the screen, when one notice information from the one or more pieces of notice information is selected, update information corresponding to the selected piece of notice information. The notice information maybe presented in a status bar or banner like first region of the display i.e. in its periphery. The update information is presented more centrally in a window like second region of the diplay different and not overlapping with the first region of the display.
