PURPOSE: A device for measuring ultrasonic waves and a method for measuring the ultrasonic waves are provided to simultaneously secure a plurality of distance data by measuring time coefficient for the received ultrasonic waves. CONSTITUTION: A device for measuring ultrasonic waves (100) comprises a transmitting and receiving module (110), a comparator module (130), and a calculating module (120). The transmitting and receiving module is separated from a transmitting part and a generating part which are outputting ultrasonic waves to an object in the same interval and comprises a receiving part receiving the ultrasonic waves reflected from the object. The comparator module calculates the time coefficients for the ultrasonic waves outputted from the generating part and the ultrasonic waves transmitted to the receiving part. The calculating module calculates the distance between the object and the generating part and the angle between the transmitting and receiving module and the object using the time coefficient calculated by a comparator.
