<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input pen for a capacitive input device whose slidability, abrasion resistance and durability are improved to facilitate scrolling and other operation and to be stably usable for a long period. <P>SOLUTION: A pen is formed with a conductive area 12 that comes in contact with a hand or finger of a user in at least a portion of a pen body 10 to be held by the user, and a pen tip 20 that presses against an input operation surface 2 of a multi-function type mobile phone 1 is inserted into a tip portion 13 of the pen body 10. The pen tip 20 is formed with a thin dielectric resin molding 21 inserted into and supported by the tip portion 13 of the pen body 10 in a deformable manner and having a substantially U-shaped cross section, and a thin conductive coat layer 22 laminated on the inner surface of the dielectric resin molding 21 and electrically coupled to the conductive area 12 of the pen body 10. A press contact point where the pen tip 20 presses against the input operation surface 2 of the mobile phone 1 is on the dielectric resin molding 21, which improves its slidability, abrasion resistance and durability. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
