<p>A wooden crate making machine includes a conveyer system where the four sides are assembled, with a pair of parallel belts (1) which carry jigs (3) which holds one long side, made up of two slots (8) which engages two sides (4) similarly made of slats, fastened to triangular corner pieces, so that they are carried together to a frame carrying a cross member (7) which nails them together, then they travel to the end of the belts where a reversing device (13) swings the assembly over, to return on a similar parallel pair of belts alongside to be positioned again under the cross member (7) where the fourth side is nailed on again. They then continue to the feed end, where the assembled four sides are lowered onto a take-off conveyer.</p> |
