<p>The invention relates to pressure medium reservoir (1) for a hydraulic motor vehicle brake system, comprising a housing (6), a filling opening (9), a closing element (10), and at least one hydraulic connection for the hydraulic supply of the motor vehicle brake system. The problem of the present invention consists of reliably managing a fluctuating filling level of pressure medium, nevertheless providing a minimal reservoir size, and simplifying the motor vehicle maintenance. In order to solve the problem, a defined volume reservoir (13) having a specified design is provided in order to accommodate pressure medium, which volume reservoir can be switched in a hydraulically effective manner by arranging the closing element (10) at the filling opening (9).</p> |
