<p>1413315 Reactive azo dyes HOECHST AG 11 Dec 1972 [13 Dec 1971] 57141/72 Heading C4P New reactive water-soluble azo dyes of formula wherein Y 1 and Y 2 are H or halogen atoms, or alkyl, alkoxy, NO 2 , SO 3 H, COOH or acylamino groups with the proviso that only one may be H, A and B are aryl or aromatic-heterocyclic radical, X is -O-, -S-, -CO-, -SO 2 -, -N=N-, -CH 2 -, -NH-, -NHCONH-, -NHCO- or -NHSO 2 -, R is an -SO 2 CH 2 - CH 2 Z or -SO 2 CH=CH 2 group, Z is an OH group or a radical capable of being split off by an alkaline agent and v and w are 0 or 1, are prepared by azo coupling, followed by further condensation reactions to modify the Z radical. The dyes are used to colour leather and wool, silk, synthetic polyamide, polyurethane and, in particular, cellulose fibres, by the usual reactive dyeing processes in yellow shades.</p> |
