The present invention provides a front side member for a vehicle designed to absorb impacts in stages in each part in case of a vehicle collision and a manufacturing method thereof. The front side member which is molded using precipitated hardened steel, given in the embodiment of the present invention, includes: a front end unit which restricts the distribution of a precipitate within a first precipitate amount; a central unit which is connected to the front end unit and has a second precipitate amount greater than the first precipitate amount; and a rear end unit which is combined to the central unit and has a third precipitate amount greater than the second precipitate amount.
