摘要 |
An integrated cooling system for a nuclear reactor of the present invention comprises: a inner vessel filled with first coolant which is heated by a reactor core to convect; an inner magnet which is disposed along a circumferential surface of a shield surrounding the reactor core inside the reactor inner vessel; an inner insulator which is disposed along an outer circumferential surface of the inner magnet; an outer insulator which is disposed along an inner circumferential surface of the inner vessel being separated from the inner insulator by a predetermined distance; a plurality of conductor plates which is installed at a predetermined intervals between the inner insulator and the outer insulator; an outer magnet which is disposed along an outer circumferential surface of the inner vessel; and an outer vessel which is disposed outside the inner vessel, and filled with second coolant for cooling the first coolant in the inner vessel. According to the present invention, the cooling system can cool the nuclear reactor even in case of power loss of a nuclear power plant, thereby preventing the worst situation such as a core meltdown, thus improving remarkably the safety of the nuclear power plant. |
