The present invention relates to a tablet for preventing or treating angiogenesis or matrix metalloproteinase (MMP) activity-mediated diseases, comprising a Melissa officinalis extract containing rosmarinic acid, caffeic acid, and rutin as major active ingredients. The tablet has an excellent release rate, for example, the elution rate of rosmarinic acid or caffeic acid is 80% or more within 30 minutes, and is stable under accelerated conditions. Therefore, the tablet of the present invention can be useful for the prevention or treatment of angiogenesis or MMP activity-mediated diseases, particularly, obesity.
