The present invention relates to an air conditioner. The air conditioner according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a compressor compressing a refrigerant; a condenser condensing the refrigerant compressed by the compressor; an expanding device which depressurizes the refrigerant condensed by the condenser; an evaporator which evaporates the refrigerant depressurized by the expanding device; and a refrigerant storing device which bypasses at least some of the refrigerant and stores the same. The refrigerant storing device includes a first storage unit which stores the bypassed refrigerant; a second storing unit where the refrigerant passing through the evaporator flows in and which discharges the gaseous refrigerant of the received refrigerant to an inlet of the compressor; and a partitioning plate which partitions the first and second storing units and transmits the heat of the first storing unit to the second storing unit. |
