摘要 <p>PURPOSE: A boron-added molten steel for manufacturing a thin slab and a refining method thereof are provided to reduce production cost as the strength of a coil is controlled using cheap manganese while reducing the amount of boron. CONSTITUTION: A boron-added molten steel for manufacturing a thin slab is composed of 0.006 wt.% or less of C, 0.4 wt.% or less of Mn, 0.001-0.008 wt.% of S, 0.03 wt.% or less of B, and the rest of Fe. The content of Mn and S is Mn/S>=50.
