Vehicle hydrostatic drive with hydraulic differential - has cross coupling between hydraulic motors and transmissions on opposite sides

The hydraulic transmission of the construction vehicle has a central hydraulic pump which drives main hydraulic motors on each side of the vehicle. The main hydraulic motors, on the drive wheels are linked to subsidiary drive motors on the front wheels of each side of the vehicle for four wheel drive, with a simple torque distribution. The main drive motors are coupled to a simple epicyclic gearing between the two sides of the vehicle in order to provide a differential drive effect. The hydraulic links to the front wheels are automatically adjusted.
