The present invention relates to a flap gate which includes: a connection unit of which one end is hinged on the front surface of the upper part of a terminal and the other end is hinged to both sides of a water gate main body to guide the opening and closing of the water gate main body; a balancing weight unit which includes a balancing arm having one end coupled to the upper part of the water gate main body and both cantilever-shaped ends extended and bent toward the upstream of a waterway and includes a balancing weight coupled to the other end of the balancing arm; and a buoyancy chamber which is installed in the inner lower part of the waterway of the water gate main body and vacuumizes the lower part of the water gate main body by being formed of a skin plate and a partition plate installed in the skin plate, and then which blocks external water flowing backward to the internal water when the water gate is closed and is opened if the water level difference between the external water and internal water is generated by the balance weight unit and the buoyancy chamber when the water gate main body is opened. Therefore, the present invention blocks the external water flowing backward to the internal water when the water gate main body is closed by organically operating the connection unit, the balance weight, and the buoyancy chamber and is easily opened when the small water level difference between the external water and internal water is generated when the water gate main body is opened. |
