Disclosed are a compound for an organic electroluminescent device and an organic electroluminescent device comprising the same. According to an embodiment of the present invention, provided are a host which has electrical stability, excellent electron and hole transporting ability, and high triple state energy, thereby improving light emitting efficiency of a phosphorescent material; a compound for an organic light emitting device, which is used as a hole transporting material and an electron transporting material; and an organic electroluminescent device comprising the same.
