PURPOSE: A nanoparticle for removing arsenic by using a wire explosion process is provided to have excellent arsenic removal efficiency, to separate arsenic by using magnetism after arsenic adsorption through containing magnetite, maghemite, and zero-valent iron (ZVI). CONSTITUTION: An iron oxide nanoparticle contains magnetite, maghemite, and zero-valent iron (ZVI). The iron oxide nanoparticle is magnetized. A manufacturing method of the iron oxide nanoparticle comprises the following steps. Argon mixing gas including oxygen is supplied within a chamber of an electric wire exploding apparatus, and an iron oxide nanoparticle is produced through explosion. The argon mixing gas includes 5-10% of oxygen. The removal method of arsenic uses the iron oxide nanoparticle which contains magnetite, maghemite, and zero-valent iron as arsenic adsorbents. The iron oxide nanoparticle in which the arsenic is absorbed is separated by using the magnetism. The arsenic exists among effluent or waste water. |
