<p>The massager according to the original patent has two infra-red emitters directed at the part of the body to be massaged and an ultrasonic head (y, y') arranged on or in the rotating magnetic disc housing (3). The parts can be selectively and individually switched on or off by means of a double switch (5). Pref. the infra-red emitters and the ultrasonic head (y) are arranged at equal distances from each other around a cylindrical housing (3). The ultrasonic head acts as a therapeutic measure to heat and pre-massage the area under treatment and stimulate the blood circulation apart from the known therapeutic value of the infra-red rays.</p> |
