PURPOSE: A strip flatness measurement device is provided to make a measurement of the longitudinal flatness of a strip as well as a widthwise flatness of a strip, and simultaneous measurements of the longitudinal and widthwise flatness of the strip. CONSTITUTION: A strip flatness measurement device(100) comprises a supporting unit(110) and rotary arm(114). The supporting unit is provided near the transferring channel of a strip, and equipped with a rotary shaft on one side. The rotary arm is fixed on the rotary shaft to be rotatable in parallel to or at a right angle direction to the transferring path of the strip, and includes two or more water level sensors. The supporting unit comprises a first supporting unit(111) formed in parallel with the longitudinal direction of the strip, a guide unit(112) formed on both ends on the first supporting unit; a second supporting unit(113a) equipped on one of the guide units, shuttled in the orthogonal direction of the first supporting unit along the corresponding guide unit and formed with a rotary shaft on the end on the side of the strip; a third supporting unit(113b) shuttling at right angles to the first supporting unit along the guide unit. The third supporting strip has a raised step for the rotation arm to be placed on the end part on the side of the strip. The strip flatness measurement device includes a gap adjustment unit to shuttle the second and the third supporting unit. |
