<p>The mobile machine is for renewing asphalt and other road surface coatings and comprises a wheeled vehicle carrying a cutter or scraper, for removal of the existing coating. The spreader for application of the new one is connected to a large capacity trough at one end by a conveyor. The supply trough (15) is fitted with support wheels (19), and is directly hinged to the main vehicle chassis (1) so as to be able to swivel about a horizontal axis. Alternatively it may b e attached to one end of a carrier frame (16) which accommodates part of the conveyor system (12), while the other end is hinged to the main chassis. The support wheels may be hydraulically adjustable for height.</p> |
