PURPOSE: A transformation method of a rice plant is provided to shorten a period for developing a novel variety by inducing a semi-immature embryo using a matured seed. CONSTITUTION: A transformation method of a rice plant comprises: a step of preparing the matured seeds of the rice plant; a step of germinating the matured seeds and forming immature embryos(IEs); a step of introducing a vector containing a target gene into the immature embryos; and a step of transforming from the immature embryos. The rice plant is selected from a group consisting of japonica species, indica species, and javanica species. The vector contains toxoflavin lyase gene(tflA). |
