<p>The work cylinder (50) for the cutter slide is mounted in the machine frame. The rod material and the sheet material which is to be cut are clamped down, one above the other, in the path of the shear by means of two beams (12, 16). The beams are forced against the material by two separate hydraulic cylinders (51, 52). The hydraulic circuit for the cylinder (50) which operates the cutter slide and the cylinders for the clamping beams is so arranged, that the beams are clamped down, before the work cylinder is operated. An adjustable choke and non return valve is mounted in the hydraulic line which leads from below the piston in the work cylinder. After cutting operation, the clamping beams are released from the material by means of return springs.</p> |
