The system, making use of prefabricated structural elements, is suitable for the construction of cubicles or cells, such as thse required for experimentation, where insulation from noise, heat, radiation, or other environmental influences, is essential. The walls are made up from a number of elements, with detachably interconnectable edges. They consist of two or more layers of shaped corrugated or ribbed sections, with the corrugations or ribs of one layer forming an angle with those, of the next; this corresponds to the angle between the edges of the element. The element are pref. rectangular, with the corrugations or ribs intersecting at righ angles. This is rigid, and easily assembled, saving material and needing no heavy support frame. Door, window or ventilation openings are easily cut out.
