<p>The window stay mechanism is fitted on the inside of the frame and is intended for use on tilting, fold-down, swinging or folding windows. A swivelling stay arm with guide pin operating in an arc-shaped slot engages another pin operating along a straight slot through a push rod working with a stay arm fitted on a locking hook. The locking hook (29) has a back-off cam-shaped rear edge (39) and the stay arm (31) is fitted with a draw-off pin in the area of the draw-off cam. The draw-off pin (40) is positioned so that it touches the draw-off cam surface (39) about halfway, when the window is unlocked, but not yet opened.</p> |
