A light emitting device according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a light emitting structure which includes a first conductive semiconductor layer, an active layer which is formed under the first conductive semiconductor layer, and a second conductive semiconductor layer which is formed under the active layer; a reflection electrode which is formed under the light emitting structure and includes a first region which is arranged under the second conductive semiconductor layer and a second region which is extended from the first region and passes through the second conductive semiconductor layer and the active layer to be protruding; an insulation layer which insulates the first conductive semiconductor layer from the reflection electrode and insulates the reflection electrode from the active electrode; and an electrode which is electrically connected to the first conductive semiconductor layer.
