PURPOSE: Virtual disk drive system and providing method are provided to facilitate document management in a virtual disk drive such as USB by recognizing a virtual disk drive in all window applications operating in a user terminal. CONSTITUTION: A database management system (DBMS) (140) manages file information and folder information related to stored files. When a virtual disk drive is executed in the user terminal, a business server demon (130) displays the file information or the folder information on a screen of the user terminal. When the user terminal requests any one of the files, a file server demon (110) opens the requested file and displays on the screen of the user terminal. When the user terminal processes generation, modification, delete or movement related to the folder information, the business server demon generates, modifies, deletes or moves the folder information stored in the database management system.
