The characteristic of a method for enabling a terminal to switching an operation channel in a wireless personal area network (WPAN) system disclosed in the present specification is to include a step of setting association with the PAN coordinator of a first frequency band; a step of receiving channel switching information from the PAN coordinator of the first frequency band; and a step of setting connection with the PAN coordinator of the second frequency band based on the received switching information. The channel switching information includes channel information and switching time to the second frequency band.
