The present invention relates to a cooking container for a gas range in which a heat-resisting member is included. The heat-resisting member of which heat conductivity is lower than materials of the container is formed on the bottom of the cooking container so that the bottom is divided into a heated area and a temperature sensing area sensed by a temperature sensor. Gas supplied to the gas range is blocked only when the heat-resisting member is overheated. Therefore, food materials in the cooking container are completely cooked. |
