The present invention relates to a bending apparatus for deforming one side surface to expose, to the outside, the one side surface of a cylinder housing which has a closed or partially open one side surface in an axial direction. The bending apparatus includes: a bending unit which has a bending punch vertically extending, a lift driving unit lifting the bending punch, and a stripper protruding downward of the bending punch, accommodating the lower part of the bending punch in a vertically formed through hole, and being lifted along with the bending punch by the lift driving unit, and performing vertical sliding elastic motion relatively to the bending punch; and a chuck unit which has a hollow jig housing, a hollow holder shaft which lifts and slides in the jig housing and has the jig housing on the upper end being using the one surface as a bottom surface, an elastic supporting means pressuring the holder shaft upward and making the upper end of the mounted housing to protrude from the upper end surface of the jig housing, and a location fixing means making the housing to be in contacted and pressured and lowered by the lowering the stripper and making one side surface to protrude and be deformed when the bending punch is additionally lowered by fixating the holder shaft in case the lower end surface of the stripper abuts the upper end surface of the jig housing.Therefore, the bending apparatus can set the entire width of the cylinder housing to have same value depending on the protrusion of one side surface as a means for deforming one surface of the cylinder housing to protrude to the outside. |
