According to the present invention, a slag granulation chamber cooling apparatus for preventing slag particle from being fixated includes: a cooling water pipe located on an outer surface of a slag granulation chamber; a water pump providing cooling water into the cooling water pipe; a flow rate control valve located in a cooling water inlet of the cooling water pipe and controlling the flow rate of cooling water; a temperature sensor located in a cooling water outlet of the cooling water pipe and measuring the temperature of the cooling water discharged through the cooling water pipe; and a flow rate controller receiving the temperature of the cooling water from the temperature sensor and controlling the flow rate control valve depending on the temperature of the cooling water.
