A motorized vehicle having at least two wheels, such as a bicycle or the like, comprising at least one electric motor powered by an energy storage and generation source, such as a battery or the like, said at least one motor driving at least one of said two wheels. Manual dive means, such as pedals or the like, are provided, for transferring motion to at least one of said two wheels through transmission means, said at least one electric motor being connected to said energy storage and generation source through a control unit, which control unit regulates the operation of said electric motor. Furthermore, the control unit turns on/off according to the speed parameters of said vehicle. |
