FIELD: radio engineering, communication.SUBSTANCE: method is based on using measurements at radio monitoring stations of values of signal levels at each of selected frequencies and the inverse relationship between ratios of distances from the station to radio-frequency radiation sources and corresponding signal levels, where the obtained values are averaged and the current variance of signal levels is calculated at each of the selected frequencies until the current variance is greater than the previous; the averaged values of signal levels are then transmitted to a base station, where their relationships are determined and three equations are constructed, each describing a circle with centres of location of the stations and radii that are inversely proportional to signal levels and is a position line, as well as a Cayley-Menger determinant from where relationships of averaged values of signal levels determine the distance to radio-frequency radiation sources, and any two pairs of the equations determine the current average value of the latitude and longitude of the location of the radio-frequency radiation source as coordinates of the point of intersection of radical axes of circles, i.e. as coordinates of the radical centre of position lines. The current average value of the latitude and longitude of the location of the radio-frequency radiation source is determined until the difference of two adjacent values of the current sums of variances of the latitude and longitude of the location of the radio-frequency radiation source changes its sign, after which the averaged values of the coordinates of the radio-frequency radiation source are recorded as final.EFFECT: high accuracy of determining coordinates of radio-frequency radiation sources.1 dwg |
