TWO-CHANNEL EXTRUSION HEAD FOR MAKING POLYMER SHAPED RUNNER USING ULTRASOUND OSCILLATIONS

FIELD: machine building.SUBSTANCE: proposed two-channel extrusion head is used for making a polymer furniture runner with application of ultrasound oscillations. Proposed head comprises split case composed of two sections with cooling system that make forming channels of shaped cross-sections communicated with the head feed channel and magnetostriction radiators. Note here that said magnetostriction radiators are arranged at forming head, at upper section above shaped grooves. Surface of said grooves is shaped to "?"-like section. Cooling system is composed of three rectangular cross-section flow channels located at upper section.EFFECT: higher efficiency and quality, simplified design.2 dwg
