Increase of rolling and transportation speed, stop accuracy and structure simplification are achieved due to installation of double-pole slotted brake electromagnets on fixed stand-traverses above straightening chutes of a cooler with attraction poles downwards. One pole with a core and an actuating coil is designed fixed and the second pole is provided with a hinge and pneumatic drive of turn relative to the first pole.EFFECT: improving products quality of and productivity during manufacturing of long-length thermo-strengthened ferromagnetic rolled steel at a stage of its electromagnetic braking and cross-drive in high-speed continuous small-section mill.2 dwg |
