A cooling method and device for amorphous strip manufacture using strip casting are provided to supply a cooling medium mixed with CO2 and water to upper and lower spray holes and to discharge the cooling medium through the lower spray holes formed at a lower plate so as to improve cooling effect. A cooling device for amorphous strip manufacture using strip casting comprises a pair of rolls(10), a lower plate(20), spacers(50), an upper plate(30), and a supply pipe(40). The rolls manufacture the strip having amorphous features, using molten steel. The lower plate, placed at the lower part of a cast strip(S), is formed with lower spray holes(21). The spacers are placed at two sides on the lower plate. The upper plate installed on the spacers is formed with upper spray holes. The supply pipe supplies cooling media mixed with CO2 and water to the upper and lower spray holes. More than two partitions(22) are formed on the surface of the lower plate. |
