<p>The present invention relates to a content output method using a head mounted display (HMD) and, more specifically, to a method for outputting content displayed in a digital device using HMD. The present invention provides the content output method using HMD, comprising: a step of pairing HMD with the digital device including one or more display units for displaying content; a step of detecting a location state including and a first state in which the display unit of the digital device is located in a predetermined view angle area of the HMD and a second state in which the display unit of the digital device is not located in a view angle area; and a step of outputting the content displayed on the display of the digital device using the HMD based on the detected location state.
